00 (upbeat music) Are you tired of feeling hopeless? Or do you feel as though you carry around an invisible ball and chain? If so, you are in the right place. It's time now for Awaken Hope with Kandiee Campbell. Kandiee is a therapist and grief counselor that works with women to help them process and heal from emotional events that can keep them feeling stuck. Let's take this journey together. And now, here's your host, Kandiee Campbell. (upbeat music) - Hello, hello, hello. How are you? I am so super grateful that you are choosing to listen to my show. I am so super grateful. Today, I have a wonderful guest I'm going to introduce you to.
47 She has been a guest on my show previously and has been so generous with her time to come back. Today, before we get into the introduction of our guest, I do want to do one housekeeping thing. As you know, if you've been listening to me, I'm coming to you from the beautiful state of Hawaii. That being said, my location happens to be underneath the flight line to the Honolulu Airport as well as near a fire station. So you may, you may not hear a plane, a jet, or a siren go by. If you do, we will take a momentary pause because unfortunately, we cannot compete with those sounds.
28 I've tried and it does not work. So without further ado, let me get into today's introduction of our guest. Today, I have Rebecca Quave. Rebecca Quave is an internationally recognized spiritual teacher whose wisdom and warmth helps people worldwide reconnect with their deepest peace, purest love, and most expansive joy as they live their soul truth. Although she experienced the unexplainable as early as childhood, the pervasive awakening that changed Rebecca's life forever occurred after she earned a biology degree, got married, and had two children. Before her spontaneous awakening, life felt like a constant battle to prove herself and be enough so she almost never felt at ease.
26 She didn't understand why after everything she tried, accomplished, perfected, and tried some more, that she wasn't truly happy. After the shock waves of bliss, peace and intense satori rippled through her being and life. Rebecca spent years integrating and expanding of her experiences while simultaneously raising her two children after divorce and navigating all the practicalities and challenges of life. Rebecca is a catalyst and guide for expansion of consciousness. Her presence is a gateway for you to step into a new state of being. Her natural gifts include activating you to your highest truth, receiving and transmitting frequencies that create a profound shifts quickly and easily, and sharing intuitive wisdom and guidance that is both transcendent and practical.
28 She has not only experienced the truth, she shares through direct revelation, but has applied those truths in the trenches of decades of life experience. Rebecca's work is the missing piece for so many because it's not a mindset, positive thinking, or good vibes band-aid. It catalyzes a deep lasting organic shift in your way of being. This ever expanding journey of true awakening and embodiment takes you far beyond superficial. Feel good spirituality and repackaged woo. You can reconnect with your innate boundless bliss and live your soul truth with support from Rebecca's courses within the soul oasis community, or dive into a transformative experience at her powerful in-person retreats.
27 And she will share more information of how you can get in touch with her on that once we get into our conversation. Welcome Rebecca, thank you so much for being here. - Thank you so much for having me back, it's a real treat. - I am truly, I'm truly blessed by you because I've had the lovely experience of having one of your transformative healing sessions. And I will say it was truly amazing. - It was such a joy to work with you too. - Thank you. - So tell us, what would you like the listeners to know today? - Oh, so much. And at the same time, it all really boils down to a simplicity.
24 Because no matter what someone is facing right now in their lives, what kind of challenge or transition or loss or maybe just embarking on a whole new adventure. What brings an ease to that and a joy to that is you bringing your inner harmony with you wherever you go and bringing your harmony to life instead of life bringing its disharmony to you. - Well, I know we've talked about you providing an opportunity through kind of a, I would say mini, mini healing session. Are you prepared for that? Are you ready to embark on that? - Oh, absolutely. So I would love to, before we, do you mean going ahead and moving into some sound work?
32 - No, no, no, no, explaining it and then we'll go into, I mean, after- - Oh yeah, okay, yeah, absolutely. Yeah, I am going to write here on the show, do some sound work that will help shift things for everyone listening. And of course, I know you've had your own experience with that already as well. - And I can truly say when I did mine, it was incredible. We worked on my younger version of me, the three-year-old part of me who has always been, especially when I'm, I will say when I'm stressed or upset about something, she gets triggered and she tries to jump into the driver's seat of the car.
20 Lord knows three-year-olds cannot drive, but she doesn't know that. She just gets, she gets worried and she starts to panic. And at first in my life, I didn't realize what was happening when I would have that experience. I mean, I'd get stressed and I'd start getting anxious about something, but I did not fully comprehend that that was just the younger version of me trying to drive the bus and take over. And then as I began more of my journey, I started to see the, you know, and recognize, oh, you've got a different part of you. She's still me, but it was the wounded part of me that was trying to control things and take over because she, that was her mode of operation.
08 That's what she learned at an early age. But when I did the session with you, if it's okay, may I share some of the details? - Oh, absolutely. Since it's yours, it's completely up to you, anything you wanna share, absolutely. - What I saw when Rebecca was working with me is I literally saw my three-year-old self. I mean, at first she kept looking. And again, this is in my mind, you know, through my third eye. She would look at me and look around. She was in my heart, but she wasn't quite fully ready to let go. She'd look at me like, are you still there?
51 Is this okay? As we progress through the session with the healing, she finally was able to let go and just go explore and go be a child, not needing necessarily that follow-up or that, this isn't safe, I gotta worry about something 'cause she's, when I'm activated, she's always worried because that three-year-old part of me began to worry about the responsibilities that she had no business worrying about, but no one told her it wasn't hers to worry about. So when she began this healing session with me, I literally saw my three-year-old take off and she was exploring and she was gone and she was like waving goodbye, I see you later, you know?
52 And in this process, I saw parts of my heart coming back together. And what I realized at the end and afterwards is my heart had been broken in so many pieces and I didn't even know it. I've been functioning at, I don't know, maybe not, I wouldn't even say, it felt like the whole heart came back together, maybe it was half of my heart, I don't know, but I saw pieces of my heart coming back together almost like a, like you can, when you put a jinga, you play the jinga game and it all kind of fits in, well, that's what it felt like, it was like all my heart pieces were coming back and going into place.
42 And it was the most relaxing and comforting feeling I had ever experienced. And I still listen to the sounds, I still, you know, and I still get sometimes a little anxious, but I remind her, it's okay, I play the sounds and she goes off, my three-year-old goes off and my heart just kind of relaxes. And I can truly attest that what she does, what Rebecca does is amazing. So, we are gonna take a short break and then you get a special treat 'cause she is gonna share with you some of her greatest tools and strategies. So we'll be back, stay tuned. - Well, hey there, my name is Michelle Sorrow, I am co-founder of the podcast Accelerator and host of Fire and Soul, a top 1% podcast in self-development worldwide.

Welcome back to Awaken Hope. I am so super grateful. Again, I have Rebecca Quave, and she has got a true gift and experience for you today. But before we get into that, I'm gonna let her kind of explain it and profess it so you can benefit the most out of it.
10 Take it away, Rebecca. - Exactly, thank you. So I just wanna, first of all say, what Kandiee experienced in particular in her session, happened because that's what was arising for her and what she needed to open and step into in that moment. So it's not that when I work with people or even anything that I'm gonna do here today to support all of you, it's not that it's just inner child work or oh, it's just heart work or that there's any sort of like pre-prescribed process that I'm taking people through in a repeated way. What happens is when I'm interacting with whether it's one person or whether it's hundreds of people or more, like with all of you today, I just connect with the best way for me to describe it.
09 My experience of it is that it's just a oneness, right? Like after that oneness that I was plunged into for weeks on end so many years ago that changed things forever, there's that undercurrent of awareness of that oneness. And so that just gets turned up louder is the best way I can describe it. But you could also conceive of it as your higher self or whatever you think of as your guidance or your source sort of letting me know what's going to support you best. And then that's what comes through, that's what comes through me. So when I guided Kandiee through her session, everything that we did and everything that unfolded was just coming from this awareness of that was what was ready to expand, that's what was ready to heal, that's what was ready to move forward.
05 And like you said, Kandiee, it wasn't even something you would have thought to ask for because it wasn't something that you even thought, oh, this is an issue for me. And that to me is the real beauty of how much I enjoy working with people is that it's not just an A to B process. It's, you know, you might think you're coming to me for A to B, but where we actually go is someplace beyond what the mind even knows how to comprehend. Now with that said, I do want to give your mind a bit of context. And so a lot of you, if you're listening, you might already be familiar with the way that sound is one of what you might consider a bridge between the physical and the spiritual, right?
52 Sound impacts you on every layer and level of your being. It impacts you physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. And so when we're dealing with sound frequencies, what that helps do, and like when you mentioned earlier that you'll go back to the sound and then, you know, your three-year-old will settle down and your heart will fill whole, it's because you are giving yourself a reminder to almost to retune yourself to that frequency, right? So when these sounds come through, whether it's with the help of the crystal alchemy bowls or whether it's tones and sounds and frequencies that are coming through me vocally, either way, what this is all you have to do when you're listening to these is be receptive to the way that this is shifting your energy and shifting it in a way that helps shift your state of being back into what I kind of referenced when we first started, that natural state of inner harmony that then is not only anchored in you, but radiates out from you so that as you walk, 'cause again, I'm all about this being very practical, as you walk through your life and through the world, instead of the disharmony hitting you and making you feel less harmonious, your harmony hits everything else and helps bring it more into harmony.
33 Does that make sense? - Makes perfect sense. I do wanna add to one thing for anybody that's listening, as she gets into this, please know, do not close your eyes, listen to it with your eyes open, especially if you're driving because we don't want anybody having any accidents. We just want you to hear it. So again, if you're driving in your car, no closing your eyes, just listen with your heart and with your eyes wide open. But if you're in a calm place, if you're sitting down, you're at home, and you feel compelled, by all means close your eyes, be in a quiet space. But you can always go back because these are archived, you can always go back and listen to it at a time when it's more convenient for you.
30 So do not feel like, oh my gosh, I can't do it, I'm in my car, I don't get, I'm not gonna have the opportunity because it's an hour session and I've got an hour commute. It's okay, just listen to what Rebecca and I are talking about and then go back and listen to it at another space, another time, and everything will be perfect, so. - Exactly, I'm so glad that you mentioned that because, and I was gonna mention that is this is not for operating heavy machinery or driving or any of those things because as you settle in, if you are in that space where you have the space to close your eyes and really just focus on letting your breath help move what is moving through your body.
21 And yeah, if you listen to this at a later time, you're not missing out on anything, everything that I do, all of the energy that's being transmitted, all of the different multi-dimensional energy and frequency that's being transmitted is intentionally the same regardless of when it's being received. - Awesome, now I know ladies and gentlemen, you are in for a treat 'cause like I said, when I did it, I really had no clue that my heart had been broken. I knew it wasn't functioning at a full capacity but I didn't realize to what degree until I visually started seeing parts of my heart fly back together and come together, I was like, oh my gosh, why the heck is this?
12 But it was truly an amazing experience because I felt, I would say in for the first time in 50 years, I felt a wholeness in my heart. And since the heart is so much a part of us that needs to lead, we tend to lead with our head and don't get me wrong, the head is good and the brain is good, it serves a purpose. But when you're trying to heal something or you're trying to fix something, your head will stop you left and right every time of the, every day of the week because it does not want you to go-- - Because anytime we're doing something new, we're going somewhere that the mind hasn't been before and so it doesn't know how and it's not going to know how.
05 And of course, I value the capacity of the mind, I've done a lot of intellectual pursuits but there are some things that are out of its realm. - Especially when it comes to healing. I mean, the healing part, the mind is wonderful, don't get us wrong, it is an amazing thing. But if you're trying to heal something, your mind needs to take a step back and you need to go with your heart. But for me, my heart was so fractured and I didn't even know it until she started working with me and I was like, oh my gosh, it was like, I had that aha moment click in my head going, oh my.
51 So we're gonna take a short break, we're gonna get ready and stay tuned and we'll be back. (upbeat music) - Hello, hello, hello. 23:41 Thank you. Welcome back to Awaken Hope. All right, we are going to get into this sound healing session. So again, if you are driving, operating, heavy machinery, behind a wheel, it doesn't matter. Just listen with your eyes open. Don't close your eyes. You can always read, listen to it at another time. If you are in a safe space that you can listen, relax, close your eyes and just enjoy. And it will relax you incredibly. All right, Rebecca. - All right, wonderful. Yes, so just taking a few nice deep general breaths and letting yourself be open to receive whatever is going to be most beneficial for you in this moment.
45 So there's a wide variety of things that people experience both internally and externally, all of the things that Kandiee already mentioned, but it can be anything for you. I don't want you to restrict this to having an expectation that there's some particular thing that you should or shouldn't experience or that you're supposed to receive, okay? So with that openness, just bringing your breath into the center of your heart and letting yourself receive. (gentle music) (gentle music) (gentle music) (gentle music) (singing in foreign language) (gentle music) (singing in foreign language) (gentle music) (singing in foreign language) (gentle music) (gentle music) (gentle music) - Wow, that was very soothing.
50 Truly, it was truly, really soothing and it just, my heart was just almost jumping. You could imagine how her heart jumped, but it was jumping, it was bouncing all over the place. And everybody's gonna have a different experience. Everybody's gonna have a different reaction. But what I want people to hear and know about this is that sound is one of the quickest ways to calm your senses, your amygdala, your fight, flight, or freeze. Anything that's activated and is sending you all over the place. - Brushwood Media Network. - And you can listen to this, you can go back. And again, like I said, if you were driving, that was not the time, you just listen with your eyes open.
59 But if you can listen to it when you are in a quiet place and just let whatever needs to come to you, everybody's experience is gonna be different. Everybody's gonna react differently. But I always tell, I didn't know for me, I tell my clients, I'm like, when you are starting to feel anxious, you're starting to, even depressed, you know, you're feeling kind of low and you just like, don't feel like doing anything. I always say, go turn on some music. Not ones, not headbanging music, not with a bunch of words, but just music, classical music. You can listen to sounds of bowls and just let it pour over you in that moment and calm your mind and your nervous system down, get you out of the sympathetic and transition into the parasympathetic.
02 Because I truly do believe if you can calm down your mind, you can begin to have incredible downloads, thoughts come into your mind, ideas pop in that may not have been able to come through because your system was so uptight and activated to the point that it was just shutting everything down. What are your thoughts, Rebecca? - I know you're shaking your head, ladies and gentlemen. (laughing) I know she's shaking her head. - Definitely, that openness and ease is so essential, right? Because again, the logical mind, since it records, it processes, it files, it recalls, it does all of things, those things, and it does them really well, but asking it to go into a realm that's beyond its scope, asking it to know these divine inspirations that are gonna move you forward, it can receive those, it can help translate them, it can recall them, it can build around that, right?
25 But asking it to do that itself is like getting a calculator to write poetry. It's not gonna happen. The calculator does what it does really well, but it's not gonna write poetry. - Darn, no poetry, my calculator. - Exactly. - We need to, I mean, I was reading some studies and reading some books, and it was talking about how we stay and fight fighter frees more than we are in relaxed mode. I mean, you stop and think about it. You get up, and depending on your patterns, your habits when you get up, I had to change some of my habits because I used to go, I used to get up, look at my phone because I couldn't see the clock from the distance I was without putting my glasses on, but then I had made the mistake of getting into email, and that was number one mistake, 'cause anything that's in email can wait, but if you hit it first thing in the morning when you're still in that in-between state, it just sets you off, and it would set the tone for the day for me, and that was all she wrote, and I'd be like activated and agitated, and so I began to change.
50 I still look at the clock to see what time it is, but then I put my phone down, just so I see whether it's time to get up, or I do my meditation, I do what, my time, as I say, in bed is to do my forgiveness practice to kind of center myself, ground myself before I put my feet out of the bed, but I had to change that, because when I started with looking at my email or looking at who had managed to text somewhere in the course of the night, sometimes I got things I didn't wanna see, and I didn't mean to see first thing in the morning.
32 - Exactly, and technology, listen, don't get me wrong, I love technology. That's how this is possible right now, that we're in completely different places when we're having this conversation, it's beautiful. It lets me work with people from all over the world without that barrier, but at the same time, technology has crept into our lives in a way that so much of our structures haven't kept up with, right? So like you said, that habit kind of happened without even realizing it. It's not something where like our parents and grandparents all had cell phones too, and so they've sort of like passed this wisdom along to us of, oh, well, don't start with your phone first thing in the morning, right?
17 And I know what you mean, 'cause I actually, I don't wear a watch, but I have a watch for the purpose of, I put it on my nightstand, so that my phone is like, doesn't exist in that space. So I'm able to, if I need to see what time it is, just look at that watch because for exactly the reasons that you said. - Yeah, no, it's really important because if you, you know, like I said, depending on how you get up, you can get yourself activated immediately. And then you get up, you take your shower, you get ready, you go to work, maybe in counter-traffic, which many people do.
00 And then you're still activated because you're annoyed because traffic's taking too long. You know, it's going too slow. Someone's doing something. - And people end up living in a cycle of they need their coffee to wake up and then they need their wine to wind down. And, you know, and if that's what you find yourself living in, it's so important to, I mean, first of all, to give yourself grace because it's not that you're failing or doing something wrong. Our entire system is set up to put you in that space, to say, well, no, why would you rest? You need to be productive. You need to, you know, just go ahead and have some caffeine so you can get up and keep going, right?
47 And so it's a symptom of not like a personal failing. It is a systemic issue. And if you want to be able to navigate beyond that, that is possible too, though. You know, you don't have to be beholden to just being drug around by, you know, the clock and a stimulant and then a depressant and gaga, gaga, gaga. Like you said, most people are not centered and anchored in the truth of themselves in the way that makes navigating life easier and smoother and more harmonious. Yeah, it's so important to just remember to breathe. Breathing, and yes, you're always breathing. We're always breathing, but there's a difference between just shallow breaths and taking three to five deep breaths.
55 Gonna center you in the hair now. Calm your body down, you know, relax you so you're not just pinging. What comes to mind when I think about that is, I don't know if you back, did you have like the old pong game where the ball went back and forth? Yes, yeah. I was like, I see that when I'm thinking, you know, just like pinging a ball, pinging back and forth. Yeah. Just, we have tools, you can take some of these tools and just relax. There is nothing, absolutely nothing in this world that needs to be done at this very moment. If you're stressed, if you're all agitated and mad and annoyed at things, that is a good sign that you just need to take a deep breath back, take a step back and take a deep breath.
52 Maybe listen to some, you know, you turn on some soft music. I like classical music. I listen to the recordings you've given me, but before that I listened to classical music 'cause it was soothing. Yeah, it really is, it really is. I mean, it can also be invigorating depending on what, you know, classical runs so many, but it always does just connect directly with your nervous system in that way. And it's so, it's so key to do whatever it takes to let yourself slow down and reconnect 'cause as many people can attest, sometimes if you don't slow down, life has a way of slowing you down instead.
39 - And you don't want life to slow you down, you wanna be-- - Exactly. - You wanna be able to manage that and not be at life's mercy going, "Okay, I've been giving you signs, "I've been giving you signals, "and now I'm gonna give you something "that you cannot ignore and you must pay attention to." - Exactly, exactly. And that's why even when, I mean, this is years ago, both of my kids are adults now, but when they were young, that was something I paid attention to and from the time they were little tykes, I would tell them, "Okay, listen, "any time you want just a day off "that you're gonna lay on the sofa "and have a little bell and get whatever you want."
19 And, you know, like the experience that typically we receive as children only if we're sick, right? My kids had a code word which was, "I need a TLC day, Mom." And we would do what we called a TLC day, and that was that so that they didn't sort of get programmed with this idea of, "Oh, if I wanna be nourished, "if I want this space to have a break "and be sort of extra loved up on, I need to get sick." Right? That happened subconsciously for so many people so easily. - And there's ways that you can change your habits. You have to be conscientious about it and make an intention that you wanna change it.
05 But I really encourage people to recognize that because I can attest for my own life that I didn't listen to my body. I had things that were showing up. Looking back now, I had things showing up for a few years. And then when my mother passed away and I got hit with my great kidney decline and being diabetic, I was like, "Oh my gosh, where did this come from?" But when I started looking back, I saw things that were popping up. And when I was pregnant, I had, you know, what do you call it? Where your sugar's high. - Transitional diabetes and things that, you know, I just kind of pushed the thigh 'cause it was like, oh, well, yeah, okay, it occurred while I was pregnant and then it went away.
05 Well, I had it in three pregnancies, you know? - Well, and oftentimes even the medical advice will essentially be to push it aside, right? I mean, I had an emergency gallbladder surgery before I was 30. And so I found that concerning obviously, and I'm asking the doctors afterwards like, so what is that about? Like what was wrong that this went so bad that you had to, and every one of them just gave me a shrug and was like, "Eh, it happens sometimes." And I'm like, I don't know that I believe that entire organs just, you know, blow up and aren't supposed to be there. You know what I mean?
49 So, I mean, it wasn't until many years later that I really took myself on a really transformative, holistic change in my health. But same as you looking back, it was like, well, wait a minute, these are like, these look like pretty obvious red flags that something's going on. - Yeah, and if you don't pay attention to that and you don't listen, like many of us do, and I'm talking to myself when I say that, life has a way of coming back and saying, "Okay, I've been giving you little signals here and there." - And now I'm going to yell. - Now I'm going to yell at you and you are going to listen.
31 And you don't, if you can avoid that, I highly recommend it because by then, yes, you can pull yourself back up and you can start rebuilding, but you are starting from a deficit a lot farther back than you would have if you'd have listened, if any of us would have listened at the time the red flags started popping up. So my recommendation and encouragement, ladies and gentlemen, is listen to whatever your body's saying. Don't ignore those signs that are saying, you need self care, you need to rest, you need to slow down. There is a reason why your body is telling you that. If your body's saying, "Slow down, slow down, slow down," maybe you are setting yourself up for something you don't want.
23 If you keep going full speed ahead, like Speedy Gonzales hitting that and eventually you hit that brick wall and goes, "Oh, okay, I have no other choice than to slow down." It truly is an opportunity for you to re-change or change the path you're on. You don't have to continue going down that path that says, "Keep going, don't listen, activate it." - And it doesn't mean that you have to abandon your perseverance or your determination, right? I run into a lot of people, especially people that come to me as one-on-one clients, that they're very tenacious, they're very determined, they can just anything they put their mind to, they can do.
20 And so that is a strength, right? That absolutely is a strength, but it's about the harmony of learning to navigate and letting that be a strength when it's a strength and then letting that be balanced by its corresponding strength, which is ease, which is that softness and flow and being able to, like you said, relax and be nourished and replenished when you need it so that there's something that fuels that determination and perseverance when it is needed and not just having that on full steam all the time as the only setting. - Yeah, and I was talking with a client and we were talking about self-care and the client was like, "Well, how do I replenish myself?"
11 I'm like, "Well, you do things for you." And it was like a pouring concept when I was talking about that. I'm like, self-care is one of the most important things. Listening to your body, listening to your intuitive hits that says, "Hello, you need to slow down. You need to get more sleep." Whatever it is, whatever your body is talking to you about, to listen to it, replenish. Maybe, like you said, have a TLC day. You know, that's a message I've been getting a lot out. It's like, "Self-love, take care of yourself." And I'm like, "Okay." I went to an expo with a friend of mine last weekend and everything I turned to said, "Self-love, self-care."
01 And I was like, "Okay, I hear you, I get it." You're trying to- - It's true. It's so true though, because no matter what's going on in your life, it might look like, oh, I need to put more attention on this issue or that issue or whatever. I need to, you know, whatever's going on in my family life, whatever's going on in my bank accounts, whatever's going on and dot, dot, dot, that's what. But the key to your life is you. You're the one thread that runs through all of it. So the key to your life is you, and the key to you is love.
39 And by that, I mean the true transcendent, deep, unconditional love that has no opposite, not just the emotion love, right? And when you really are willing to prioritize that, prioritize paying attention to, all right, well, what is my state of being? That's what's going to impact every single other thing in life that your mind thinks that you have to just go put more focus on right now. - Yeah, you're right. - 'Cause you show up to those, when you go inward and let your state of being shift, you show up differently to everything else, including your habits, right? So I've run into plenty of times where people like, mentally have the right idea of like, I need to change this, this and this habit because boop, boop, boop, and they've got it logically all sorted out, but are they doing it?
35 Not necessarily, right? So it's that interaction between, again, all these layers and levels of our being, the physical, emotional, and mental and spiritual. If you go ahead and drop into a habit very easily, the continual enacting and embodiment of that habit will also then reflect in a shift in your way of being. But guess what? It works the other way as well. So if you're finding yourself not consistently shifting that habit, guess what will shift it for you is that shift in your state of being, 'cause then you will show up to the habit differently. Instead of trying to force yourself to do it, it'll just flow like, the same way you're not having to try hard to do whatever you're doing now, that you'd like to be doing something differently, you won't have to be trying to do the new thing either because your state of being will have shifted into the you that naturally does that.
41 - Yeah, and one also thing, another thing, I want you, ladies and gentlemen, I want you to hear is that you have to bring a lot of self-love and self-compassion to yourself. You know, there's times when it can feel daunting, 'cause it's like, oh, I gotta do this, and I gotta change this. It's it's itty bitty baby steps, it really is, because it's all about, it's about blooming, not forcing, right? So when, even when you're making changes in your life, there's a world of difference between making them because you're judging, and I always love to say this, that a rose doesn't bloom by judging the rosebud is wrong.
27 The rosebud is also beautiful, and it blooms into the full bloomed rose. But mentally, we've been taught to believe that we either, that if we don't hate the rosebud, that we're not gonna have motivation to bloom into the rose. And it's just not the case, right? Easy does it, gentle does it, giving yourself, like you said, that grace and compassion and self-love. And that's really what's at the core of these shifts in your state of being that I've been referring to, because your natural state of being is that love. - And you really do have to, again, it's listening to what's coming up for you, because everybody's different, everybody responds differently.
21 And sometimes your body will say, you know what, it's okay to relax. It's okay to not, to just be. And that's a thing I've been hearing. I was like, being. For a person that's so used to doing, it's a reverse, you know? But I'm learning that being means, maybe it's just going outside and sitting out in the sun with my dog and feeling the sun come down in my head or going for a walk, doesn't have to be a lot. It's just going out and just being in that moment. Breathing, reading a book. Sometimes reading a book can be so cathartic and so depending on the type of book you're reading, but it can be relaxing.
24 Again, even three minutes with a tree can teach you so many new things, can teach you so much about how to be naturally you, which you already know. So it's not like it's really teaching you, it's reminding you. It's helping you, again, shift back into that frequency, into that way of being that is natural to you. - Which so many of us have lost that. - Most people are wildly away from it, yeah. - We have not, you know, we weren't conditioned or shown how to do that. I mean, our, depending on age- - No, we were groomed to be little production machines, is essentially what it is.
17 And I intentionally use the word groom for that because that's what it was. - What our parents learned, they passed down to us and you have to be- - And society as a whole gave you all of, gave everyone all of these messages that says, this is what you're here for. Not because you're, you're not here because your existence alone is already more than enough and cause for celebration. You're here because you're supposed to make something and do something and earn things. - And I've learned, I'm learning the more I be, the more things start to flow and show up. And I'm like, well, that's just so counterintuitive from what I learned.
04 - Well, and it's because the mind sees everything in so much duality, right? In these either ors of like, well, if I'm being, then there's gonna be less time for doing, right? And it's not even about an either or, it's about sinking into that being and staying there. And the doing that flows from that being is then effortless and more quote productive than the doing without the being. - Yeah, truly profound. I really, really do recommend, you know, ladies and gentlemen, if you are wanting to change and develop some, come back to simplicity, who you are, reach out to Rebecca as she, like I said, she does have a phenomenal way of connecting with the sound and her foundations that she teaches you.
19 And you will begin to, I would say it's kind of like a caterpillar, you know, you watch a caterpillar and they're in the cocoon and they literally have to turn to mush to emerge as a butterfly. But she is guiding you through that cocoon stage and she's there to support you and give you that, you can do this because it's scary, you know? I mean, when, if you haven't done something, the first reaction is, oh, I can't do this. I don't know what to do, but if you have someone that's gonna hold her hand, so to speak, and hold space for you to get you through each stage of that cocoon, you can do this.
09 And you will be supremely more blessed for it in the end because you will turn, you will yield into an amazing butterfly that you had no idea you were. 'Cause we're all, we all have incredible talents and gifts and stuff, but we get stuck in that stage. - Absolutely and even as you're coming out of that cocoon, even as that's breaking open and the butterfly needs a few different things, it needs different things than the caterpillar did. And so it's this space to sort of unfurl those wings. It is the breeze blowing through to start to dry those wings, right? So that they're actually capable of flight.
06 So each step along the way, you know, what a good midwife does is not force the process to be a certain thing. What a midwife does is connects to how that process is unfolding for that particular birth and is so intimate with their understanding of the process that they're able to hold that process. And give that guidance along the way. And so that's, you know, I see myself in sort of a midwifery capacity with people through their awakening and shifting into a new way of being. - Again, thank you Rebecca for coming and sharing this healing opportunity with the listeners and especially with myself. I love it with the world because we need stuff like that.
